Welcome to the Pittsburgh Region


Welcome to GlobalPittsburgh, a regional collaborative initiative to introduce you to the international character of the Pittsburgh region!

This region is home and host to tens of thousands of new Americans and others born in other lands who have come here to work, to play, to study, and to invest. We are home to over 300 international firms from 26 different countries. We are home to over 40 distinct international communities. With this website, we invite you to meet our international communities!

We also invite new residents to the region and those considering coming here to explore the many opportunities that living in Pittsburgh offers to help you feel more at home. And we invite employers and investors who are growing their international workforce and improving their position in the global marketplace to take advantage of the many services available to assist you.

Pittsburgh says welcome in many languages, with many customs and cultures. But it all translates to the same thing -- home.
