If you are interested in meeting people from all over the world in Pittsburgh and learning more about different cultures, join us on Thursday, April 4, from 5:30-8:00 pm at AVA Lounge for the GlobalPittsburgh First Thursdays international happy hour.

GlobalPittsburgh First Thursdays is a regular monthly night of networking and socializing with different themes and different activities - but always with an international flavor - on the first Thursday of every month. It's an evening of friends, interesting conversation and good spirits with an international flair. Everyone is welcome!
In April, we will partner with the Pittsburgh Folk Festival to celebrate "Unity in Diversity". Over 50 years, the Pittsburgh Folk Festival has been a member-based consortium of ethnic community cultural organization that now celebrates the diversity of more than 30 countries and cultures around the Pittsburgh area. Their 56th Annual International Folk Festival will take place on April 19-20, 2013 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland. Come to our networking event on April 4 to learn more about the Pittsburgh Folk Festival!

AVA Lounge is located at 126 S. Highland Avenue in East Liberty.

Admission is FREE for paid GlobalPittsburgh members. Admission is $5 at the door for everyone else. Membership information will be available at the event, but you may also join GlobalPittsburgh now at and get in free on the night of the event.
