September 6-12, GlobalPittsburgh hosted a delegation from Jordan under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) project "Advancing Economic Partnerships". Seven ministry-level officials, business leaders, and strategic advisers spent six days in Pittsburgh exchanging best practices in investment promotion with their counterparts at Idea Foundry, U.S. Commerical Service-Pittsburgh Office, U.S. Small Business Administration - Pittsburgh District, EXIM Bank, BNY Mellon Capital Markets, AlphaLab Gear, American Middle East Institute, Regional Industrial Development Corporation - RIDC, and the University of Pittsburgh Center for Sustainable Business.
