Professional Exchanges
GlobalPittsburgh is a proud member of the Global Ties U.S., the country's largest and oldest citizen diplomacy network of over 90 organizations implementing international exchange programs in all 50 U.S. states. GlobalPittsburgh is the designated partner of the U.S. Department of State to organize professional itineraries for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in Western PA and Northern WV.
Over its 6 decades of operations, GlobalPittsburgh has implemented a variety of professional programs in the Pittsburgh region. This includes arranging itineraries for all groups, arranging professional meetings with leaders in the Pittsburgh network, hosting cultural and social events for the groups, securing homestays or hotel placements, organizing transportation and other trip logistics, and acting as the in-city point of contact and a welcoming support to guests.
