GlobalPittsburgh hosted a delegation from Kazakhstan for an International Visitor Leadership Program exchange on Promoting Strategic Artificial Intelligence Engagement. During their visit, participants met with GlobalPittsburgh leadership for a program welcome before engaging with key institutions shaping Pittsburgh’s technology landscape. At Carnegie Mellon University’s CyLab and the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, they explored AI-driven cybersecurity, high-performance computing, and emerging research initiatives. The group also visited Hellbender Inc. to discuss responsible AI innovation in manufacturing, toured Google Pittsburgh to learn about ethical AI design and large-scale tech development, and met with the AI Strike Team to examine regional strategies positioning Pittsburgh as a global AI hub. The program included cultural exchange through home hospitality dinners with local families and concluded with the delegation’s departure for their onward travel.
