Global Intersector

Global Intersector is a series of events to connect Pittsburgh to the world. We provide opportunities for Pittsburgh's international and local communities to meet with visiting foreign delegates.

You can find us at the intersection between Local and Global.

Upcoming Events

Join us on June 26 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for an informal networking happy hour with international leaders from the Slovak Republic under the auspices of the U.S. State Department-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) project, entitled "Building Community Resilience - the Power of Cities".

Our June Global Intersector is being hosted by the Nationality Rooms and Intercultural Exchange Programs in collaboration with the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures, the Slovak Studies Program, the Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies, and the Czechoslovak Nationality Room Committee at the University of Pittsburgh. The happy hour will feature a summer menu of mocktails (alcohol-free drinks) and hors d'oeuvres.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS REQUIRED and limited. Admission is free for GP members, professional resources, host families, and volunteers; $25 for non-members.
