GlobalPittsburgh hosted a delegation from India for the International Visitor Leadership Program focused on Powering Partnerships for the Global Nuclear Energy Supply Chain from September 3–9, 2026. The delegation included senior leaders from Tata Consulting Engineers, Tata Power, Adani Group, and Larsen & Toubro working across nuclear energy, engineering, technology, and international business.

Participants met with Westinghouse Electric Company to discuss U.S.-India civil nuclear cooperation, advanced reactor technologies, Small Modular Reactors, nuclear fuel, global supply chains, and international partnerships supporting energy security. The group also learned about Pittsburgh’s transformation from an industrial center into a region known for energy innovation, advanced manufacturing, and technology.

At RIZZO International, delegates explored nuclear facility engineering, safety standards, licensing, infrastructure resilience, and project risk management. Meetings with the ARM Institute and Catalyst Connection highlighted how robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and stronger supplier networks can support the production of critical components for the nuclear industry.

The program also included home hospitality with GlobalPittsburgh volunteers and opportunities to experience Pittsburgh and Niagara Falls, combining technical exchange with cultural connection and relationship-building between U.S. and Indian energy leaders.
