September 10-13, GlobalPittsburgh hosted a delegation from North Macedonia under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) project "Effective Local Government Financial and Resource Management". Nine municipality leaders and professors wre in Pittsburgh to examine resource mobilization practices for U.S. local governments through meetings with local government officials, agencies, chambers of commerce, and community and civil society groups to discuss effective public management, accountability, and transparency at the local level.

We are grateful for our resources that shared their expertise with the visitors: Idea Foundry, Allegheny Institute for Public Policy, Allegheny Conference on Community Development, the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public & International Affairs, Western Pennsylvania Regional Data Center, Deputy Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh, City of Pittsburgh Ethics Hearing Board.
