GlobalPittsburgh hosted an IVLP delegation of 11 healthcare professionals from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Suriname, and Tanzania on the project "Mitigating Challenges in Women's Health."
The group had beneficial meetings to observe and share their perspective with the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative, UPMC-Magee Women's Hospital and UPMC International, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. The group was also able to tour the Pitt Nationality Rooms and meet with the American Middle East Institute during their stay.
